New “Bexford” Subdivision in the Fuquay-Varina/Willow Spring area

Just before the end of December in 2021, the town of Fuquay-Varina gave approval for Raleigh-based Terramor Homes to build a new community called Bexford.

The Bexford neighborhood will be located near Willow Springs Elementary, close to Hilltop Road and Highway 42. The address of the community will be Willow Spring, but it will be located within the territorial jurisdiction of Fuquay Varina on the Wake County side of Willow Spring.

The “Bexford” neighborhood sits on a 82-acre parcel close to Hilltop Road. When the neighborhood is complete, the community will have a total of 401 homes, with 292 townhomes and 109 single family houses.

At the start of January, 2022, the development plan has been approved by the town of Fuquay-Varina, and the developer has agreed that a minimum of 20% of the land will be set aside for open space.

Terramor Homes and the town of Fuquay-Varina still need to get through the architectural and infrastructure phases of the development before homes start to get built.

Consumer demand for homes is quite high and there is limited inventory throughout the greater Triangle area. For that reason, it is estimated that these new homes will get snapped up quickly when the building starts.

Residents who purchase in the community will benefit from easy access to the new Hwy 540 exchange that is coming in closeby. That interchange will be located only a few miles away. The residents will also have quick access to the new Fuquay-Varina bypass as well. It is estimated that drivetimes will be greatly reduced for neighborhoods in Fuquay, Garner and Willow Spring when these thoroughfares are complete.
